Rito Wingo Appointed As Prime Minister - Sacked Judges

Rito Wingo, leader of the Legolis First Party (LFP), took the Prime Minister's office yesterday after being sworn in by King Arius Legolis. 

In his first act as the Prime Minister, he sacked two judges who had investigated LFP in the past for corruptions.

"I am the Prime Minister. The buck stops here", said Wingo.

He has also appointed members of his family and friends to key positions in the government. His personal lawyer is now the Chief Justice of the Kingdom of Lego, after the former Chief Justice retired last week. 

Wingo's son and son-in-law were appointed as the Foreign Affairs Minister and Security Advisor respectively. As for the key post of the Minister of Defence, Wingo has appointed General Wellmaster, former commander of the Lego Armed Forces,  to the ministerial post.

Tension with other NARTO countries have already escalated. Wingo has demanded other NARTO members to spend more on Lego military equipment.

"First and foremost, all NARTO countries must be put in line and must comply with my demands. It is Legos first now," said Wingo in a press conference after his appointment.

Wingo has also threatened to cut all military assistance to Brikvania if the small Kingdom refuse to join NARTO and spend more money on defence.

​"If you do not join NARTO, you are on your own. Brikvania should wake up," said Wingo. 

At home, Wingo said that he will cut taxes for businesses, and increase taxes from workers. "More money for businesses will lead to more investment and more work", said Wingo.
