Royal Palace Has New Security System

New CCTV security system has been installed throughout the Royal Palace.

The Royal Palace in the Kingdom of Lego  has installed new security system to protect the Royal Family. The upgrading works were done in the aftermath of a coup against the Royal Family late last year.

A new security unit has been set up to protect the Royal Family and Palace. The Palace Security Unit (PSU) is managed by the Royal Police.  

Beside the Royal Guards, armed uniformed PSU officers are now deployed to guard the compound of the Royal Palace and provide security escorts to members of the  Royal Family. Each member of the Royal Family - King Arius, the Crown Prince and the Queen - will be provided with security escorts.

It is reported that King Arius will be escorted by up to 5 PSU officers whenever he attend public events. The Crown Prince and the Queen are each escorted by 2 PSU officers.

Security at the main and rear entrances to the Palace have also undergone upgrading works. Newly installed protective barriers are spotted outside the Royal Palace main entrance. In addition, an armed guard with an automatic weapon is deployed at the main entrance.

The latest CCTV system has also been installed around the  Royal Palace. The high tech system has advance censor system that will alert the command post to any intrusion automatically.

The Police Commissioner said that the security around the Royal Family needs to be upgraded, in view of threats from the supporters of the now deposed Prime Minister Rito Wingo.
