Royal Police Battled El Chapone Gang

The Police Special Tactical Team had stormed an El Chapone gang hideout in the city of Caslanca last night. 

About eight members of the El Chapone gang that were involved in the recent ambush on a police convoy that killed El Chapone were killed in the ensuing gun-battle with the Police.  Five other suspects were arrested.

Acting on a tip-off from the Royal Intelligence Service, the Legonia Royal Police Special Tactical Team was dispatched to a villa in Caslanca. 

At about 11 pm, the police tactical team surrounded and stormed the villa in a surprise attack on the gang's hideout.  The eight gunmen in the villa opened fire but they were quickly suppressed by the Police tactical team. Another five members of the El Chapone gang in the villa were arrested. 

A police spokesman confirmed that they have also found $1 million Brick dollars in cash along with heavy weapons in the Villa.

"We are confident that the information gathered from the villa will point us to the whereabouts of Birckobar. We will arrest him and bring him to justice", said a Police spokesman.

The five members of the gang that were arrested have been brought to the Legotown Police HQ for detention and further questioning. Security around the Police HQ building is tight with Police Tactical Team guarding the entrances and exits. 

Brickobar took over the leadership of the El Chapone gang after the arrest of El Chapone. His current whereabouts are unknown although he is believed to be hiding in Brikvania or Malatia.
