Royal Visit To Police HQ

King William II watched a display by the newly formed elite Police-Counter Assault Team (PCAT) specialising in tactical operations.

His Excellency King William II visited the Royal Police Service (RPS) new Headquarters yesterday.  Located at Royal Police Park (RPPK), the new Police-HQ has state of the art command and control system

During his visit, King William II also launched the newly formed police special operations unit called PCAT (Police-Counter Assault Team). PCAT officers are highly trained officers specialising in hostage situation, and are also deployed to guard key buildings such as the Royal Parliament House and Royal Palace.

Another new unit formed was the PTAF (Police- Task Force) which is responsible for public order and riot suppression.

PCAT and PTAF will support the Royal Police Service (RPS) to ensure the safety and security of Equanterians.
