Ultimatum to Malatia: Withdraw from Suva or War !

The Prime Ministers from Equanter and the Kingdom of Legoland met in an urgent meeting in the Equanterian capital city of DeQuan to discuss the Suvanese crisis.

At the end of the meeting, both leaders issued an ultimatum to Malatia to commence withdrawal from Suva within 7 days, failure which a state of war will be declared.

Amid tight security, both leaders met at the Equanterian Parliament Building to discuss the next course of action.  Malatian invasion and occupation of Suva had shocked regional states. The largest regional power, the Kingdom of Lego, had already put its armed forces on alert.

Equanter, which shared about 50 km of border with Malatia, is concerned about Malatia's expansive ambition. The kingdom has border dispute with Malatia, and had a short civil war recently against its local citizens of Malatian origin.

Although the Equanterian civil war has ended, the kingdom's Eastern Province is still tense as local citizens of Malatian origin wanted the province to be part of Malatia.

Meanwhile, the Suvanese Royal Family is safe in the Kingdom of Lego. Members of the Royal Family had formed a Government in Exile and set up the Free Suva Army (FSA) to be based in Legoland.
