UN Peacekeeping Commanders Met King Arius

Commanders of UN Peacekeepers in Brikvania leaving the Royal Palace in the Kingdom of Lego after meeting King Arius.

Several top Commanders of the UN peacekeepers in Brikvania met with King Arius of the Kingdom of Lego in an effort to prevent a war between the Legos and Brikvanians.

King Arius, in a press release, said that he will do what he could to reduce tension and prevent a war.

The UN Commanders' attempt to meet with Prime Minister Rito Wingo failed as the latter refused to meet up with them.

"The war against Brikvania is a just war. Brikvania poses a threat to the Kingdom of Lego. Only I and the Legos First Party can protect this country", said Wingo in a press conference.

King Brik II of Brikvania has sought the UN's to assist to negotiate a peaceful settlement to the current dispute between both countries.

Prime Minister Wingo has refused for any negotiation, claiming that Brikvania must give up the Legolis Province or face a war of attrition. 

Wingo Junior, the son of Wingo and who is also the Prime Minister Senior Adviser, claimed that the Kingdom of Lego is not a security threat to any country.

"We want peace but on our terms. No question about that", said Wingo Junior. 

The failure of the UN Commanders to meet up with Wingo is not a good sign for the region as it seems the Kingdom of Lego is preparing to go to war.
