Urgent Security Summit Held

The members of the Non-Aggression Royalists Treaty Organisation (NARTO) had held an urgent security Summit last night regarding the coup in Malatia and the recent border disputes between Castonia and Malatia.

The Head of States and Prime Ministers of Caledeon, Equanter, Fabuland, Legonia and Suva met in Legotown last night for the Summit.  

There are security concerns within NARTO that Malatia might go to war again, especially since it has returned to totalitarianism under harsh military junta.

Former Malatian leader Nutyubrick has also joined the summit, and called for NARTO to respond forcefully to any Malatian aggression.

No statement was issued after the summit. However several sources said that NARTO is clearly alarmed at the situation in the region.

According to sources who had attended the closed door summit, the Kingdom of Suva had requested for NARTO troops to be deployed inside its territories. Suva was invaded and occupied by Malatia in the last regional war. 

"The Suvanese government is nervous right now as the Malatians are known to have a strong military", said a source who had attended the summit.

The Kingdom of Suva has a small military of about 2,000 troops. It has no tanks but a few armoured vehicles.

During the meeting, the Kingdom of Legonia said that it will consider the requests of military assistance from other NARTO countries. But the Legonian Defence Ministry said that Brikvania and Castonia's security must be protected too.

Brikvania and Castonia are not part of the NARTO alliance, and both countries claim neutrality in the foreign policies.
