Malatian forces have captured the Royal Water Depot, which supplies water to the city of De Quan, the capital city of Equanter.

Water rationing has been decalred in the city, as Malatian forces under General Nutyubrick has gained new grounds in their offensive to capture the city.

Malatian warplanes have taken to the sky, attacking NARTO forces defending the city.  Equanterian troops defending the weatern part of the city were forced to retreat as they were outnumbered and outgunned by the invaders.

The fall of the Royal Water Depot into Malatian hands put more pressure on the defenders, who now  have to depend on water supplies from warships arriving from other NARTO countries.

In the eastern and central part of the defensive line, Kingdom of Lego's reinforcements under General Prince Hansom have stalled Malatian advance into the heart of De Quan after Equanterian resistance collapsed.

"We managed to destroy 6 Malatian tanks at Princess Highway, some 4 km from the Royal Palace," said a Lego military officer on the ground.

The Malatian offensive has been gathering pace since the appointment of Field Marshall Nutyubrick, the Great General of the Malatian Armed Forces. Educated at Brixbridge University, Nutyubrick top his class in the prestigous Malpoint Military Academy. He had planned the successful invasion and occupation of the Kingdom of Suva.

The fierce Malatian offensive has led to the evacuation of the Royal Family to the Kingdom of Lego. The Prime Minister and other cabinet members, however, have chosen to stay behind to coordinate the defence of the city.

As fighting are now close to the city centre, the Armed Forces of Equanter (AFE) has moved the headquarters for the defence of the city to the Royal Palace, which is now vacant after the Royal Family had been evacuated.

In a joint press conference, both the Prime Minister and Defence Minister urged all residents to fight for their kingdom. "Our royalist soldiers are fighting and holding the line, although in some cases they are retreating to a better defensive positions," said the Defence Minister.

Meanwhile in the Kingdom of Lego, Malatian forces are stalled outside Fort Lego. This gives a chance for Kingdom of Lego to coordinate and deploy extra resources to defend Equanter. As of late last night, more warships were seen leaving the naval base sailing towards Equanter.
