Wingo Arrested While Attempting to Flee

Wingo being cornered by police officers at a warehouse. The Police received a tip that Wingo and his cronies were planning to flee the kingdom.

Former hardliner Prime Minister Rito Wingo has been arrested while attempting to flee from Kingdom of Lego after the King took over executive powers.

Wingo was detained last night while hiding in a warehouse housing new bricks products.

The Royal Police confirmed that Wingo and four leaders of the Legos First Party (LFP) were found with about $2 million bricks dollars. They were planning to escape to an unknown country with the help of the El Chapone gang.

Several police cars were sent to the  warehouse located outside the capital city of Legotown, and after a few shots were exchanged,  Wingo and his cronies were arrested.

The current whereabouts of Wingo's son, Wingo Junior, is unknown. He is believed to be hiding somewhere in the countryside.

Wingo and his cronies will be charged in court soon on charges of corruption.  The Police has warned LFP supporters to stay away from the High Court, where Wingo's trial will be held.

"The riot police will be deployed against LFP supporters if they turned up in court to cause problem", said a Royal Police spokesman.
