Wingo Cuts Defence Aid, Imposed Sanctions on Brikvania

​The Kingdom of Lego's new Prime Minister Rito Wingo has signed a law which cut all defence aid to Brikvania.

"Since they chose neutrality, they are on their own," announced Wingo in a press conference.

​Economic sanctions are to be imposed on Brikvania soon.

"I want them to join NARTO and to allow Kingdom of Lego's troops inside their country," said Wingo.

Other NARTO countries have criticised the move to cut defence aid and imposed economic sanctions on Brikvania, which is a new independent country and faces threats from Malatia if it is not well equipped defensively.

Wingo's government has also announced that all NARTO countries must adjust their foreign policies to suit Kingdom of Lego's needs. The Kingdoms of Fabu, Suva and Equanter were told to cease all military assistance to Brikvania.

The Prime Minister of Equanter has criticised Wingo's policy to control other countries' foreign policies. 

"It sounds like the Kingdom of Lego wants us to be puppets for them," said the Equanterian Prime Minister.

Within Brikvania, the Royal Government expressed its shock at Wingo's decision to cut defence aid to the kingdom. 

"We had been negotiating with the Legos on our neutrality stance and military aid . This announcement from Wingo is a shock to us all", said a Brikvanian defence official.

"We will work out something on our defence budget. As an independent country, we will not kowtow to a madman," said Prince Aragon, Minister in Charge of Defence and Internal Security.

Look like tension is heating up again in the region.
